The NZ Warbid's DC-3 is a well known bird in the kiwi skies, so how come no body has bothered to repaint it yet for FS2004?

Are there any repainter's here who would be willing to give the default DC-3 a make over?

I'm sure every NZ simmer would be forever grateful ;)

Your'e right. It's a wonder that no one has yet done one as I would have though it would be a fairly obvious choice and no doubt popular. Oh well, back to paint school

I did do one once for FS2000 but it dont work in FS9 should really redo it I guess for FS9 but I was never that happy with it.

The tricks the wings and after being on the flight path of it into Wanganui I have a few good shots for the underside now :D

Really?

Are you offering to do it BM  ?

It would be awesome if you could! Prehaps we should open a "Downloads" forum where members can upload their works of art!

Agree. That would be great BM. Just a note, looking through the Jan issue of Pacific Wings, an article on the plane states that it's due for a repaint as it's looking rather shabby. A few ideas thrown about were to keep the "D-Day" scheme the way it is, the other is to paint it in NAC colours to coincide with their 60th Anniversary next year and the third option is to use the RNZAF No 42 Squadron VIP flight scheme. I think the present scheme looks good but the NAC colours would also be a welcome sight, not to sure about the third option as I haven't seen that particular paint yet. Is it the same as what's on their 757 used for VIP's?

Thanks for the update cirrusnature, I have not read the Jan copy of P.W. and the news of the warbirds DC-3 getting a repaint is shocking!

I never thought she looked "shabby" I think she looks great just the way she is...
