Well got one of those pressy card for my birthday, never thought it would take me so long to use it up , but three days and i still have credit on it, well i got the captain sim c130 and the leveld 767, have tootled around in the herc and love that so far, so i am going to have to do some flight time in the 767 i have heard it is a great a/c any trick/tips etc to it

Isnt it like a Mastercard Gift Card Thing? Its like Debit Card, they put the money on it- But you can use it like a credit card anyware Mastercard is acepted

I think Westpac are doing that now, called a Debit plus card, where you have a debit card that can be used online.

yup you get it though nz post and load an amount up to $500 dollars on it, it is valid for a year, you can use it upto the value of your credit, very good for one time online purchases, it meant i could get what i wanted, so hard to choose!!!

If you've got any money left you might want to try the Level-D 767 Training DVD...

as I hear the Level-D 767 is a v. complex beast... as in you can spend like an hour just starting it up!

yeah, it's really useful for buying stuff on the net
whereas the pressie card you can't top up. which basically means you have to find something that is exactly the same price as the card, which is nearly impossible. (much like the Level-D 767, 200 page manual that even Einstien would struggle with)

haha na I can go from cold and dark to rolling down the runway in less than 15 minutes But definatly for the first time it can take quite sometime to find the right switches and knobs! From the IRS to the Rudder trim its all simulated and there!

Yeah... the rest of the developed world is enjoying VISA Electron (the generic name for these debit cards) awesome-ness... and we're stuck with the one bank offering...

I have been pestering my bank for months trying to find out when they're bringing it out... but given that it took them forever to de-java-ise their online banking system and do away with silly security certs, I dont see them offering one anytime soon

The best part, is that you can open an account, and just put in the cash when you need it, so should some scumbug manage to get their hands on your details, they can only nick whats in the account...

of course, this assumes your bank will let you operate an account with a minimal (or zero) balance without charging you ridiculous fees etc.

In the meantime... I just live with the risk of people getting my CC details and buy stuff online anyway

The prezzycard is a VISA and can be used by anyone.
