Justbeen looking through my logbook and was wondering if the following A/C are available. I flew these and have fond memories of them and wish to fly them again around my virtual NZ.
PA 28 181 Piper Archer, PA 28RT 201 Piper Turbo Arrow and a P68b Partinavia. In the same order the NZ rego's ZK-FOS, ZK-EZM, ans ZK-LAL were the actual ones I flew. Being ex Auckland Aero Club there would not be a Grumman AA1C Lynx also out there by any chance. Thanks. plane.gif

I don't know of any decent freeware for any of these aircraft but there is some nice payware Archers available.

Not sure whether you have FS 2004 but try this site for the Dreamfleet Archers - the Archer 11 is now rather old and starting to show its age (it is a flight sim classic) & won't be availble for FSX. The Archer 111 is a recent release , very nice and fully loaded with working GPS, autopilot etc - probably better equiped tha the RL one you flew. I have both of these a/c. There is also a NZ paint scheme (ZK-NEW) for the Archer 111 available on Avsim. Dreamfleet suppose to bringing out a Turbo Arrow IV as well but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Check out my Archer 111 here

You could also try Carenado here.. Can't comment on what they are like as I don't have them (I have their C206 though and that is pretty good) - I have heard/read that the Cherokee 180 is pretty good - it is a more recent release than their Archer - both good value it would appear and I would expect they both have good VCs and exteriors.

As you've said you're not too computer savvy, payware aircraft are generally easier to install as there's no clicking and dragging folders, it's just a matter of clicking 'next' on the installer. And I think pretty much everything Carenado is great. winkyy.gif
