Wilco --> Vistaliners

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby Q300 » Fri Feb 08, 2008 5:44 pm

Ive been neglecting the vistaliners 733 for a while and the model is 10x better than the wilco one so I decided to merge the wilco panel into the Vista 733,
When I start FS9 then go create a flight, chose the vista 737, bla bla bla, then hit flynow the loading thing starts as normal then about 2-3 seconds later at 80-90% it stops then FS9 crashes <_<
So I removed the wilco panel and put the default one back in and it worked fine :blink: :(
The only other option would be for me to use the PMDG 737 panel but its the 600-700 series and looks a bit diferent from the 300.

Any one else tried this? or come across this problem?

Thanks
Sam

How did you merge the panel? (i.e what did you edit/move around)

I just deleted the panel folder in the Vistaliners folder then copy/pasted the one from the wilco 733...

I think you can type something like alias=wilco 733 or something, just have that in a panel.cfg file with nothing else in the panel folder.

I thought there was a line in the aircraft.cfg where you could specify a panel? The folder name of the Wilco aircraft in your "Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft" directory if memory serves. ;)
