Hind Repaints?

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby SeanTK » Tue Dec 24, 2013 11:02 am

So I gave in and just bought the FSX Nemeth Hind. It's Russian, it's a helicopter, it's complex, and it's on sale, so I wanted it. (And I have a lot of reading to do to figure this one out.)

Granted, I haven't had it off the ground yet, but this one definitely reminds me of Nemeth products "back in the day", when Russian helicopters and high quality was the name of the game. (I was immediately impressed at the correct "sitting" posture of this addon, and how accurate it was both in terms of the strut compression backwards, and the left tilt to the side, as in real life).

I have Matt's (Jeansy's) revised spec maps, YoYo's Polish military paint is currently being downloaded, and I did dig up one more Soviet livery listed below, but are there any more out there...or planned?

The other Soviet repaint.....doesn't seem to be posted anywhere else:

its not the best paint kit to work with, there are too many merged layers and to separate them i would loose interest real fast

anyway its up sean if you want to download it

This looks so good! Absolutely love the eyes on it as well, and I'll definitely flying this one around quite often. Thank you very much for continuing to give this model new life through your excellent repaints!

Nice repaint Matt.

Don't disaapear again Sean, I enjoy reading your posts about eastern block aircraft, even though I don't fly them that much myself, apart from my L39

I've been lurking around a bit, and it looks like Matt definitely knows how to lure me out of the shadows briefly. smile.gif
Still going to take it easy in terms of extensive forum participation, but I'll be around. I've really enjoyed the screenshot posts from everyone lately. Some fantastic shots.
