AI Repaints - Air New Zealand new livery

Just wondering if anyone knows if anyone has or is planning on creating some repaints of the Air NZ fleet with the new 'fern' livery? I've done a search of the main FS sites and have had no luck. Just wanting to update my AI....FS9 Repaints too I might add.

I think the world is your Oyster as far as hooking into the paints, I don't even recall seeing any related files for FSX-AI.

I had a look a while ago re FS9 for Air New Zealand in new livery for either the iFly 737 or Flight 1 ATR: no luck apart from a standalone 787 which is on flightsim.com. There's also a new livery for the FSX ATR on flightsim.com. However I don't think it's the Flight 1 version. Cheers.

Thanks, yeah there's some nice flyable Repaints coming through in the new Air NZ scheme, (project Airbus, TDS 787, sky spirit 777 to name a few), I was especially after some AI Repaints....must be some talented painters out there who could give it a crack! I'd be forever grateful!!

Have you got the latest FTX freebie AI pack?
It includes updated black with white koru + fern liveries for the 777-300, A320, ATRs and B1900d. Only thing missing at present is the Dash8 but I imagine that will be included in the next release.

Speaking of the Dash8, if you really want one for AI I did a repaint of the PAD model recently for a cobber of ZK-NEQ, its a fairly low impact model I'd say so you could probably run it as AI. Screenie follows, is available for download at avsim (search for Dean Stringer)..

Thanks for the reply, FTX looks great but it appears it only works for FSX not good old FS9 unless there's a way the textures can be used on FS9 aircraft?

I'll definitely try the PAD model, I'm sure that will work....cheers!

i was just querying that you mentioned in the post i quoted that ftx ai pack has the new fern livery for 777

but only one i saw the new livery was for the a320 sharklets

Gotcha, Yeah it's definitely in there as a texture on the AI model, to be honest though I haven't seen it in the sim, am assuming its scheduled and I just happen to have not been on the ground at the right time. Could decompile the BGL file and see if it is scheduled but I'd say it is.
