Interesting Kimz! I had never heard of Veneaviones or their Rockwell Commander untill you posted, but after the little research I have done- it looks excellent.

Now I have decided to download one of the models for myself, which variant do you suggest, with winglets or without?

Hey Trolly

Love winglets myself, there are some nice repaints floating around the main Flighsim sites as well.

Well, I've struggled over this for a while! It's very hard to pick a favourite isn't it with so many wonderful choices out there.. (I don't own everything, so my payware opinions are obviously biased by my purchasing ability  )

Payware: Still awaiting PMDG MD11 :(

Very interesting, all the variety here.
'Course being wholly subjective you're allowed a little tongue in cheek, so after much deep thought:

General Aviation:
Payware: Aeroworx Beech Super King Air B200
Freeware: Boring"¦

Small Airliner:
Payware: Why bother? The Beech can do all this.
Freeware: The SAAB, of course

Big Airliner:
Payware: Payware models are so good it all seems like hard work rather than fun.
Freeware: Shhhh"¦I have a thing for Airbus. You may not have come across this one from Simubuild who have vanished without trace: A340-500! Stunning model, stunning VC.
And 4Engines4Longhaul - still I think the longest-range airliner at 16,000km.

Cargo:
Payware: Captain Sim C130
Freeware: Boring"¦

Military:
Payware: Why would you? Kirk has a Sabre and Mirages if you must, otherwise go buy a combat flight sim.
Freeware: Kirk Olsson Viper

Vintage:
Payware: Strongly tempted by JustFlight Tiger Moth. But that cbris fellow probably did paint of the year with Mt Cook Flightseeing on the freeware Moth
Freeware: Piper Tripacer by Bill Lyons. It has Atmosphere and a remarkable passenger seatcover too. It has a CD player and I listen to Ben Harper on it (and no other time!)

Civilian Helicopter:
Payware: Absolutely no reason to pay money when the freeware is mostly better!
Freeware: MD500E. It has ZK-LAP on the side

Military Helicopter:
Payware: ALPHASIM Westland Seaking
Freeware: Deane's Huey. Still stands the test of time.

Just a note for those looking for the Simubuild A340-600 but struggling to find it, try this link on AVSIM:

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search

Its a fictional Ansett repaint but includes the model, plenty of other liveries are available so worth it for Airbus fans.
