Just wondering if anyone knows what happened with the Victa Airtourer produced by the Orbx team? The most recent previous I saw were dated as of six months ago (June 2013), and prior to that, all of the other previews seem to be over a year old. It was looking like it was being finalized then, so...what happened?

The most recent I can find:

Funny i wonder about this one a few weeks back with the screenie compo of last month , maybe the developers are looking at getting the numbers correct , they do have a bunch of them in Tamworth , maybe they are putting Brad Disher on the list to help out .

It was scheduled for release in August, but seems to have dropped off John Venema's latest (November) roadmap.

I'm eagerly looking forward to this one, whenever it appears as it features Cliff Tait's "Miss Jacy" and Nigel Booth's old FS9 version was the only aircraft I was unable to port over to FSX.

Also the RNZAF did operate the Airtourer in the early stage, maybe more an evaluation period on it introduction so you able to give it a few RZNZAF paints on , funny enough they displayed three aircraft in the Cathedral Square 1974/75 - a Harvard , Airtrainer and Airtourer ... guess they wanted Joe public to make a choice winkyy.gif frankly I would preferred the Harvard biggrin.gif

It is rather strange in regards to the delay...I thought it was ready for release ages ago. This must be the longest gestation for any FS plane! I have been following this Airtourer for about 6 years (it was been done independently from Orbx before it became an Orbx product)...hopefully it will see some light soon
