This post at CBFS may be of interest to some here, but I would suggest great caution in following up the link. No good reason for my suspicion; just that the manner of its presentation set off a few alarms.

Nah the link to avsim.su is fine, I've been using that site a lot the last couple days whilst grabbing Ruskie jobs for my AI. Takes a little getting used to but a really useful site...

And here is that lovely L1011 TriStar from the link taking off out of Gatwick...

I am REALLY glad they included this livery in the package as I flew on Silver Jubilee Rose when I was a kid living in the UK. Great VC, great visual model, great sounds (Including cockpit callouts), smooth animations. An excellent package.

A later post at CBFS says it is by Thomas Ruth, and he also does a DC-10 smile.gif

One off those Lockheed's that has really flourished in recent years, we had a few stop in Christchurch, one RAF another a charter airline, Just Flight is currently upgrading there in-house Tristar to the same working level as there Canberra with everything working.

Aawww, pretty!
If I keep it, I will get the fix for the nosewheel animation (it turns the wrong way). Paint by Paul Craig.
