Gentlemen, I need Your help. For a review about ORBX Port Moresby and Cocoda track area I am looking for aircraft and repaints fighting there between June and September 1942. Most of our readers in Germany have no ideas what was happen and see this addon as only another airport far away to fly in with some heavy metall, you know. I want to write a different story and give our young readers a more inside look about history, they didn't have from the school.
At the moment i have the old Iris P-40E in commonwealth markings, a Zero, the Boomerang, but this aircraft was to late for this fight, a DC-3, the B-25, but this was also not involvrd in the fighting there... Any ideas, hints, aircraft, something to read about...?

Iam thankfull for any hint

They had detachments of Wirraways (Ozzie Harvard) famed for shooting down a Zero, Hudson's were the standard bomber that did raids on the are along with Australian Beauforts, Beaufighters and Bostons coming online, even Catalina's were involved in bombing, other transports were Ansons , Dragons and Moths of all things, also in tow was the Kingfisher.

Guess from there be a search for the types and mesh the paint to the period... Id have to do a bit of research
