Hi guys,

two quick questions, just getting into repainting so fairly new. Using Photoshop CS3 for this.

First, I have done one repaint. The main body is grey and as I have added layers, one black and one blue. These are both dull and not standing out as bright as they should be. How do I fix this?

Second,I am wanting to do a repaint of Area 51's C-5 Galaxy. I do not have the paintkit, and using another texture as a base. I am wanting to do a white body, but adding new layers everything is still grey, is there a way to get rid of the grey?

Thanks in advance.

Stu.

I would step back from using the layers or a start if you are not use to them - if you are using base Area51, using CS3 is similar to what i have, I'd gently mask the all the USAF markings.

Once done polygonal lasso tool and draw around the features , from here you can keep original base textures, once selected goto Image, from here you have a selection were you can adjust the required texture without loosing the detail.

Area 51 C-5 was a trick to repaint ,.the last half of the fuselage's textures are stretched and stuff,..took a bit of lining up..
