As far as I know, no SAAB 91 Safirs were ever imported into New Zealand.....which is a pity, because I think it would look nice with a bit of black paint:

I have not heard of a SAAB in the NZ, but if there was, that is an ideal paint and registration

Awesome... need to dust off my Safir...love fictitious NZ schemes.. the only Saabs in NZ were 340s.

since you seem to fly in Australia most of the time just don't paint one in the rusty colour, you won't see it !
