Short hop from Queenstown to Mount Cook (ORBX NZSI and NZQN, NZMC by Michael Allen-Andrews, FSGRW, REX soft clouds)

As long as we all shall wait for the announced JustFlight Service Pack (including changes to the texture mapping) to be rolled out, I've decided to release all four liveries done so far

- NAC 'BXE' 1977
- NAC/ANZ 'NAH' 1980
- Mount Cook 'BXF' 1991
exclusively for NZFF.org members.

'Nuff teasing, please consider them as 'public beta repaints' with any further suggestions cordially welcome!

Download link will be provided in the "members only" section.

Enjoy!

If this were the real world, and this was a real aircraft, i would have to say that its already in the JustFlight F27 package.
I suppose we should feel lucky that we have two versions of the same aircraft.
ZK-NAH "Kawatere", C/N 10105,..... started life as EI-AKA "St Feidhlim" of Aer Lingus.
She was the FIRST production Friendship and flew for the first time on 23rd March 1958.
NAC purchased her from Aer Lingus second hand, and she arrived in NZ at Christchurch on 27 July 1966.
When eventually sold by Air New Zealand, she went to Australia as VH-NLS, and flew air tours there for many years, which
saw her back in New Zealand from time to time.
She returned to the Netherlands in 2004, and is now PH-FHF with the Fokker Heritage Flight.

You forgot to mention Lawrie :) , It still has the old Air New Zealand fabric on the passenger seats and carpet , some off the panels were changed to suit the KLM aircraft but internally, still very much the same when it left here from Christchurch, a fitting tribute really.

There are limitations, as pointed out from the start the cockpit , is a build from many variations and took the decider on having a mixture off every aircraft and not on specific .

Talking about seats & fabric:
What about the colour of the seats?
Although these are common textures, usually placed in the fallback texture folder, it should be possible to change (if needed) and include them to the specific texture folder.

Are you happy with the seats as they are?
Or should I try to fiddle around with them? Any kind of internal photos would be helpful in this case.

Cheers,
Markus.

Maybe silly - I'd prefer painstaking.
Paying attention to interior details can make the difference. When I did several Luftwaffe repaints on the FS9 Virtavia Phantoms some years ago, I was quite proud to put the Rhino crew in appropriate orange jumpsuits instead of the stock olive drab.

And this one doesn't look too bad, does it?

No idea if this shade is authentic, just wanted to play with it...

Thank you for this pic, Lawrie!

Those white napkins with the ANZ koru are quite neat.
It will turn out like this:

That's because this is the (more or less) clean&tidy version:
ANZ's hardworking cleaning droids have just changed the napkins...

One drawback though:
Those backrest's textures got flipped to the backside, showing the koru back-to-front. I think I can live with it.

What about the NAC upholstery?
Was it the same striking 1970's orange tone (my whole childhood memories are tinted with this shade)?

Markus.

Only change was the fabric texture and colours and course the carpet to match, the internal panel only changed , the wall panels and overhead pretty much stayed the same.

There were a number of upholstery colour changes during the NAC years, the most memorable being what i call the "traffic light" colour scheme, with about 3 different colours at once. ( Gold, Orange, Greeny-Blue), during the wings of the nation era.
Also during the NAC wings of the nation era, the upholstery was a Gold colour for a couple of years.
The real early NAC friendships had Blue upholstery.

If memory serves, there was an NAC logo on the white seat bibs.
