the Flight1 ATR is just one of those titles that refuses to die, amazing really that its still kicking after all these versions have gone by. but yeah I would also wait for the Milviz.
also waiting patiently for the Q300 from Majestic ...

I used it for some revision for my type rating on the ATR, there's a few things that are different than the actual one, but with the limitations on FSX it's not that bad.

But in the meantime ..... "I used it for some revision for my type rating on the ATR, there's a few things that are different than the actual one, but with the limitations on FSX it's not that bad."

This guy walks the walk .... I cant think of a better recommendation within this (sim) context.

Also it depends on what you want. The Flight 1 is a -500 version (ATR-72-212A) and has steam gauges where as the Milviz one is a -600 (Yet still called a 72-212A).

Have a look online at the different cockpits and figure out if you want to go classic or not.

Having flown both versions I prefer the -600, but that's also as they smell newer on the inside :P

I have never used Milviz software, but sounds well worth the wait and to be able to fly on current software as I do like the features allot more in p3D than FSX but miss the missions. They were great fun.
In real world aviation is good to know both analogue and Glass to get a good understanding of the G1000.

Having a look on Milviz's FB page some of the images are very realistic, but the avionics are not going to be the same as what we currently use (STD 1 verses STD 3)

It doesn't make too much of a difference just some functionality is different
