Yes, I am aware of the stupid title..
Anyway I was looking for an a/c to use for a big tour I might do- maybe just NZ, or Oceania or even the world.. And I wanted to know what you guys would suggest. I was thinking:
Twin Turboprop
8-14 seat
Good Range
Fairly Fast
Good Autopilot.
Pressurized (not essential)
I had 3 in mind:
Aeroworx King Air B200 (Although Allied Flight Group are about to release a great looking King Air 300 which is freeware, so maybe that instead)
Flight1 Cessna 441
Neuroflight Reims/Cessna 406
What do you think? Any other suggestions?

The Aeroworx B200 is miles better that the other two (not that the other two are bad - is just that the Aeroworx B200 is so good) - the only other one I would recommend which may even be better than the Aeroworx King Air is the Piper Cheyenne 11/11XL from Aerosoft/Digital Aviation. I would also recommend the Flight 1 ATR 72 but this is much larger.

OOh definately wait for the free King Air before plunging on the pay, AFG produce some gorgeous stuff... have you considered lumbering their YS-11 about? It's wonderful to fly and I think fits your requirements though probably not as quick as you may wish.

Can't vouch for the others, but the Aeroworx B200 is still on my HDD after...a very long time.
I believe it is unmatched to date, for visual model, flight dynamics, and real-world type things like maintenance schedules(!)
But you can't just jump in and fly off with it, I'm still learning after all this time.
Although I did manage to get as far as getting the right nose-up trim setting, to get off the ground.
And getting most of the warning lights off, by correctly setting invertor, bleed air, batteries etc - are you getting the drift?

I'm with the crowd loving the Aeroworx B200. I just love it, and can only recommend it in every regard. It'll fill all the requirements you listed above. It's the hottest looking twin in the world (in my opinion of course hehe) and one of the best addons I've ever bought. I have certainly never regretted my purchase. The manual is great, and the aeroworx forums are very useful for learning to fly it.

Has anyone tried the B200 on FSX? What are the results?

To my knowledge there is no patch for FSX for the Aeroworx, and I've not thought to try and install it in there

That KingAir 300 looks great to me and should fit the bill very nicely for what you want to do.I did a flight from NZ to Australia on FS9 in the KingAir100 and had no problems at all with it so the 300 ought to do the job for you.Can't wait for it to be released myself as I will be adding that to the FSX stable as well

I've had a better idea. Is there a good FS9 Piaggio P.180 Avanti around? Quick, but relatively STOL as well.

Don't know about being "STOLish" - the Avanti is known to be very hard to slow down but very quick (faster than many jets) - there are two available that I know of - payware one here and there is a reasonable freeware one on Avsim mn_p180.zip I think Charl posted some shots of it sometime ago on this forum.

I waxed lyrical about its outlandish looks and performance, others seemed less impressed.
