I stumbled across this Socata TBM700 on avsim today, 68594 downloads since November 2005. It includes 2D panel, a detailled .PDF documentation in both French and English, custom sounds and a decent GMAX virtual cockpit and cabin. Two nifty white French airforce repaints are also included, very much mimicking the Pilatus PC-12 design.

It was built in the late 80s as a rival to the Beechcraft King Air series, comparable with the recent freeware model uploaded by AFG.

Some performance specs:
Max cruising speed 555km/h (300kt), economical cruising speed 450km/h (243kt).
Initial rate of climb 2380ft/min. Max certificated altitude 30,000ft.
Range with max payload and reserves at max cruising speed 1666km (900nm), at economical cruising speed 1853km (1000nm).
ange with max fuel at max cruising speed 2500km (1350nm), at economical cruising speed 2870km (1550nm).

Get it here: tbm700_a.zip (33mb)

Nice shots - Have tried this one out a while ago buit got wraped up in the new payware I had at the time and didn't really fly it that much (a case of had payware and paid for it so must fly it) - there is some nice civilian paint schemes available on Avsim - the TBM -700 is rather fast and the latest TBM-850 (more powerful) is approaching jet speeds. You're right about it being similar to the PC-12 - the PC-12 is bigger & has better STOL capabilities - the TBM is faster.

Just as a bump to this post..
This is a great little plane! I've been flying a few legs of an IVAO tour online with it. I have also installed a throttle fix/ update for it from avsim: tbm_700_smooth_throttle_mod_v1.0.zip

Very nice plane, I certainly recommend it!

Oh Andrew- I think that was parked next to a MD500 with a really cool Star Wars paint scheme? I only managed to get a photo of the left hand side since the engine access panel was open on the right- Dont suppose you managed to get a pic of the right side did ya?

Would love to make a repaint for the Nemeth 500
