Was downloading this from Dreanfleet and this virus was detected. Has anyone who has the Archer3 download come across this. Any ideas on what to do as I NEED this plane.

I have this plane and downloaded it with no probs - I suggest you visit the Dreamfleet forums and check there.

From what I can understand, the application that is blocked -- "Themida" is a relatively legitimate application that tries to protect applications from being 'cracked,' but sometimes hackers can use it to try to cover up malware, which is why NOD32 blocks it.

It should be fine... this is what is known as a 'False Positive'... and will generally occur when a developer has used a special encryption or compression algorithm to encode the executable so it cannot be cracked and/or to shrink the size...

As Matt mentioned, hackers often use these same techniques and AntiVirus programs cannot tell the difference, which results in the false positive...

If in doubt... contact the developer directly... there is a chance that their server may have been hacked and a virus uploaded...
