Hi,

I really would like to start painting py own aircraft. Is it easy? Is there a way that i can download say a plane of Flightsim and repaint it in my own scheme?

Thanks, ScottyB. New_Zealand_etc.gif

Its not really that easy ScottyB. Ive tried a number of times (using photoshop) and have had no luck. Sure, there are programs out there were you can customise the default 747 by making it blue and red- But creating airline repaints is a different story.

I do recall seeing a few tutorials on how to paint and maybe a list of freeware programs you can use at , Flightsim.com

I have done it using MS paint.

Just find a blank repaint (or paintkit) and paint it then use DXTbmp (or whatever it's called) to convert the textures into a use able format.
