Welcome to Stratford, a general aviation airfield, 2 nautical miles, north-east of the town of Stratford, in the Taranaki area of the West Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Stratford is just a short flight from the regions domestic airport at New Plymouth.

Just uploaded to Avsim,.................. Should be available in the next couple of hours.

Thanks for that one Lawrie............

I seem to have dropped the texture off the building with the verandah.....must have lost a file somewhere.

Can you suggest which one I need to "re-download" as this may have left quite a few of my building a bit bare...?

Thanks for your work.... laugh.gif

p.s. Is that you around the road from me in Topaz, or another L.Roach (without the "E".)

I assume your talking about the building on the right hand side of the 2 hangers ???
If so, its from "ez housez and buildings", by Ron Jeffers.
It may leave a few buildings textureless in various sceneries if you have accidentally removed it, as its a set i have used various objects from in a lot of my sceneries.

Topaz,............... down Pap,,................. nope, not guilty.
Im on the opposite side of the city, over in Brookfield.

Yeah, I thought it may have been that one so d/l'd it again and overloaded it but no joy.

I've also noticed, after test flying from Stratford to New Plymouth, that the Main Terminal buildings have disappeared on me leaving only the concrete pads. Must have a gremlin somewhere. I should have known, things have been running too smoothly lately.

You're lucky you're not at Topaz or I'd been putting my gear in the boot and visiting..... tongue.gif

I'll save your kind offer for the day when it all becomes too much and I'm threatening to give it all away. Even then I have the soft option : start again with FSX. blink.gif

I'm a Stratfordeite, and have been for over 60 odd yrs, I've made untold visits to the 'drome' and can say I'm absolutely proud of the job done by Lawrie, it's Straford to a tee and the job done on Mt Egmont/Taranki is quite brilliant.

Thanks Lawrie.
Jim.

Thank you very much Jim, for the kind words on my simple scenery.
I did as best as i could with the limited information i had,......... an AIP Chart, a couple of small grainy photo's, and a pencil sketch done from memory by a friend.
Needless to say, the buildings in the scenery are only from available object libraries, and are not EXACTLY whats there, but pretty close..........
I hope you also have my Hawera and New Plymouth sceneries as well, seeing as how you are living in the "naki".
