Mike is quite correct,........... it wont really work in FSX.
None of the flattens, or excludes, or the helipad AFCAD and roads, or the trees, etc will work in FSX.
Most of the buildings and other assorted objects may show up in FSX, but without the rest of it,...... half of the buildings would be buried in the ground, with others sitting up in the air............
Not a good look.....................

Staying with FS9 for the moment. Spent too much time and $$$ on it since i first got it in Oct 2003.
Currently 645 addon sceneries active in it,......... about 80% of those would be payware ones.
Also , love being able to have all sliders etc maxed,... and no slide show.

FSX (or FS11) will come eventually,...... have actually had FSX,......... but ditched it and went back to FS9.

Hi Snowman great scenery as always how ever couple minor little flaws with it if you dont mind me mentioning it?

1, The powderhorn Chateau is actually located in Ohakune the opposite side of the mountain

2, The size of the building its actually several building there principly the Skotel and beside it a smaller building for the staff quarters of Ruapehu Alpine Lifts and several smaller houses/chalets.

3, The building you labelled with the Mt Ruapehu logo is the Department of Conservation Visitor centre nothing to do with the ski area.

Theres also a Firestation and the DoC yard next door to it and some more houses tucked behind. Minor stuff really if you dont know the area to well hope that helps? Would you be keen to do the building for the base area and lodges up on the Ski Area and over at Turoa?

#1 I KNOW where the Powderhorn Chateau is,.............. ive been there.
I placed the wrong sign there by mistake,.......... didnt notice the error until after i'd uploaded it.
Not really worth worrying about changing it now...............

#2 I also know whats there building wise,........... i was making do with available objects from various objects libraries, and the general layout is pretty correct according the overhead aerial photo i have of it..............

#3 Yes, i know the sign isnt correct, but its the only one i had on hand at the time, .......... a compromise...........
If i added so much more extra detail that i wanted to (like the fire buildings and more houses etc etc), the scenery may become a bit much to handle fps wise for a lot of peoples older or slower computers............. Its also known as a Compromise................

"Top O' the Bruce" is already under construction,........... and i have considered Turoa etc............

Cool just be aware that the aerial photos on Google are a couple of years old and buildings have been moved since then as well as road realignment.

Might be able to help with some up to date aerials if your keen actually the new google street view can help heaps.

Yeah,.......... i'd be keen on some more up to date pics.
Google street view is really great,............... but im busted to dial-up only these days,............ you know how long it takes to load on dial-up..........
Bear in mind, what i do with this scenery, objects and buildings will only be from whats available in the large number of EZ Scenery Object Libraries.
I will try to use buildings as close as possible in shape and architechture etc to the real thing as i can.
I dont think there will be any custom buildings in this one,......... but im going to add a ficticious heli-pad (same as i did at the Chateau), for the "fling-wing" lovers out there.
