Read a little story about BER - quite an interesting history.
BER is a fascinating machine...to think Graham and Peter bought her as a project at only 17! Fantastic! She sounds different to other NZ-based Tigers, too - she has the four separate exhaust stubs, as opposed to the one long pipe.
Yup, certainly is getting dry again.....haven;t seen the hills this brown since Easter! But yeah, I was wondering how Scotty felt looking down at Omaka from the Tiger, as I was thinking how many times I;d done it in FS!

I first went up in the Nanchang for some aerobatics with Adam. He let me do a roll and fly it back to Omaka. I got a big thrill from the G-forces I had never experienced in a way like that before. After a while it was time for the Tiger ride. I was only wearing my jersey when I went up there but it didn't matter because I was too excited to be cold. Anyway it was a fun day and I can't wait until next year's flyday!
Scott you might know Reece Garlick? He's a good mate of mine and I think He and his dad Ian (great bloke) are at Omaka fairly often.
