I hope things work out well for you over there. Not sure about going 'cold turkey' with not taking a computer with you!

I'm pleased to have been able to meet you at Omaka and not doubt we will bump into each other again some time in the future.

Cheers

Well, I'm more or less set up in Bathurst / Orange now. Its probably about time I posted some photos of some of the goings on here. They are taken with an iPhone so sorry about the 'fish eye' look.

Our fleet crammed into the hanger.

These were here prior to going out on station for the fire season, they have a Cessna 337 as the spotter.

Off to Dubbo with a student.

On the ground at Dubbo, waiting for the fuel truck.

Real men fly without an AH.

Random collection of DC3s.

Photo shoot for the local paper.

Visiting fire spotter.

My friend whos been riding along with me in the car for quite some time now.

Ill post more as I take them.

Why oh why does photopucket keep changing my settings Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I resize them all before uploading to Photobucket then use the Best possible quality (while staying 1mb or less)and they seem to come out at the size that I upload them at.

those aerial terrain shots instantly remind me of flying orbx AU. Is there a line in your pre flight that say's "remove all insanly large spinders and creepy crawlys"? I think some kiwi's would jump out of there own plane if one of those crawled across the instrument panel during flight. lol

Orbx does simulate oz quite well. That spider is a baby, they can get as big as dinner plates, although thats pretty rare, most of the ones you actually see are about that size. Completely harmless too although gives you a bit of a fright when they crawl across your hand or something.

"Completely harmless too " unsure.gif YEAH RIGHT CN.......except for your nerves.
I can remember coming home on a P-3 from Oz a long time ago, and one of those got onboard somehow.....anyway half way across the tasman he/she decided to go for a walk across the TACNAV's legs.....Ive never seen a grown man move so fast in all my life...he brushed it off , onto the guy next to him.....complete chaos for about 5 minutes....then it vanished!!
Needless to say MAF had a ball when we got home.....gassed the whole aircraft....but never found it, maybe its decendents are still alive and well in 02. laugh.gif

Great pics, and good to hear from you again....keep them coming thumbup1.gif

if you are ever in Brisbane give us a yell

Couple more from this morning.

We share our hanger with a couple of other aircraft.

See these all the time, three times a day during the week and before you all ask, none of them are
ex Air Nelson.
