Hey, Ian Warren and I had arranged to share accommodation in TG, but I've kind of let him down, by changing my plans and driving with a friend from Auckland. If anyone has some ideas about accommodation for Ian, please let us know. If he gets something organised I can stop feeling guilty...

If you are really stuck in the poo.gif you could stay at my house but it will be a bit cramped as I have three kids batman.gif and my parents will be here the same weekend (for the air show) and I only have a three bedroom house. My parents are bringing their camper van so they might be staying in that ...otherwise idea.gif I can pitch one of my two tents in the back yard so you can get some sleep1.gif

I'd offer too but we have three teenagers, their respective hanger onners, a kitten and a puppy! The back lawn is free for a tent if you dodge the dog poo lol.

Im staying hopefully with family on the hill but was thinking of bringing my big @s tent to sleep in ,im more than happy to swap location if someone has a spare lawn closer and we could camp down there one night Ian ?im kinda playing it by ear anyway as the family members are having a induces baby that weekend ive been told ,i even thought just to crash in the car for the night somewhere lol, whatever it takes aye
One other thing ive been able to get for the show is a projector and screen 2.5 meters roll out ,im going to go pick it up tomorrow and see how ezy it is to setup with pc and get back too you ,ive been told the screen will be sweet in abit of sunlight as it has beads in it and im thinking its a small unit that hangs or something ill let you know when i see it ..

Just as well it wasn't on this week-end, what a stinker...other events cancelled all over the district.

Probably the worst weather we've had here for about 6 months. Perhaps a good omen for next week-end...?

Looks like its going to be a great show and so far the long range forecast looks good for a change.
Will get to Tauranga on Saturday morning and fly out Sunday night, would have liked to stay a bit longer but things are too busy so need to keep moving.

This is probably my favourite photo from the last show at Tauranga.

Too bad it wasn't this weekend, we were up in TG. Seems a bit funny having it the weekend after the holidays finish? Oh well, hopefully the weather will improve by then...I though it was supposed to be hot in Tauranga? biggrin.gif
