A few members will be camping at my place (about 2 minutes walk from the Airfield) and after the airshow on Saturday all members are invited to come and have a get together and join in a bring your own tucker BBQ we will have a couple of BBQ's available.
All those interested please add your name to this post.

I'll definitely be there -- took me a while to decide, sorry to muck you around, Doug, but for some reason Easter is always difficult to organise. Too many kids, wives, ex-wives...
Still, the kids are now grown up, and all the wives are exes, so it should be easier this year:)

I'm thinking about flying in with Air NZ Friday evening, camping overnight at Omaka, then returning to Auckland Friday afternoon from Woodbourne, since my original 172 flight plan fell through.

If anyone knows of cheap (of free

) transport between the two airports, please PM me asap!

I know its very last minute but has anybody local got a bed / couch / floor for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and a ride to the airport early Monday morning? Im not fussy, can furnish said person with beer / sprits / wine.

OK guys some members will only be here for Saturday and will not be able to make it for the after show get together and BBQ so how many would like to meet here in the lunch break if enough are interested I can fire up the BBQ and have some snarlers and bread ready for a lunch snack.

I am hoping like crazy I'll be there for the saturday, but it is possible I'll be there sunday only. I won't be able to attend an after match function as I'll be with my Dad, brother, and brother in law. But, keen as to meet up at lunchtime on one of the days. They can hang out on their own during the show if required, but won't be so keen to hang around for me to chat flight sim afterwards.
So you there at some point

I know where Doug's place is (will they let us out and back in again?)

Normally when you enter the airshow you will get a wrist band and as long as you have the right day coloured band on you can leave and get back into the airshow without any problems.

Don't ya hate it that the family have expectations on when they will see me during the weekend. I'm not sure if I will make the Sat night bash... but I will be there during the day.

Slight change of flight plan for me, but I'll be there for lunch on saturday....with bangers and bread.
If Im late, and you happen to see a short bald guy with a limp, walking around looking lost....dont talk to him, because thats not me.......But if you see a 6ft 4" guy as wide as a lamp post with a broken front tooth,goatee beard and a beaten up green de Havilland cap on....thats me
