The older I get, the more I enjoy my birthdays....each new one confirms that I have survived for yet another year...

One of my lads is taking me out for a Sunday dinner tomorrow..(its still Saturday here in England)...to save me from preparing and cooking my usual amazing dinners every day of the week!
That will be a nice surprise....and also a change from pretending to fly all around California...etc....for a few hours!...

I had a fantastic surprise! day... .... with all my vast family of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren from all around the country, all gathered together in a local Pub for a nice meal and lots of cuddles!
A great, rare get-together, and a truly wonderful time for all!

...and I feel like having a golden haired, blue-eyed, Swedish Au Pair to put me to bed, at the moment........!
I am in remarkably good nick for an 80 year-old....according to my Practice Nurse!...
