Congratulations BobL and bruce488 joint winners of the October competition both tied in the October vote and still tied again in a runoff vote.

One thing that struck me before having both these aircraft from new smack the same time they first flew is the fact when one heard the sound of the DC-3 about to fly overhead it was the Catalina and another occasion when you heard the Catalina about to fly overhead it was this DC-3 ... the sound nearly exactly the same .
