So guys here's another report, which I had done before I flew to London.
I someday arrived in Hong Kong and thought this would be a nice opportunity to re-fly a flight I had flown before in reality!
Well, in my 21 years on this planet I haven't flown too much, but this flight was kind of significant.
This flight brought me to Auckland and New Zealand where I should have the most amazing time in my life.
Not only is New Zealand the most beautiful country, there also live the most beautiful people, and I'm not only talking about their looks!
Well enough of that, let's get it flying.
Flight planing: NZ80 is our flight number.
I'll depart Hong Kong on the 25L and will follow the SID SANDI ONE BRAVO to get out of Hong Kong.

So this is our route for today:
DCT OCEAN V4 NOMAN M083F330 A461 AVMUP W16 MIA
DCT LIP B473 LOWAY M082F330 B473 SADAN M083F350 B473 WP
M083F370 B473 CS DCT SWIFT Z17 HM A346 TEKEP M082F370 A346 SALAG ~ 4700nm

Our departure

And the ICAO flight plan

There is a bit of information about speeds and flight levels as you might see.

Let's continue with the weather briefing.

At this point there are 9kts wind from 170-230, it is 31°C hot. At 2300 we're expecting clouds and thunderstorms, which we might have to avoid
I'm expecting good weather until we reach the Philipines where heavy thunderstorms are crossing our route.

Lovely, huhh?

I can't wait to join the party!

Auckland reports freeeeezing 7°C and 7-9kts of wind.

Ok we're done with the weather for now!
The aircraft:
The usual 772 was changed into a 773. The ZK-OKQ. I guess you guys know her!

Kilo Quebec is a bit fat. She brings 167.8t empty. We will fill with 109t of jet a-1 and 59t of payload.
This brings us to 335.6t TOW which is a 16t below MTOW.
We're supposed to leave the gate at 19:10local. So let's go.

Always a good lecture for the 773

It is 18:25 as we arrived Hong Kong airport

This aircraft came in from Auckland and we'll bring it back as fast as possible!

If everything's going according the plan it'll take us 10hours 5 minutes until we arrive Auckland International

So We're all set! Vr 171kts with flaps 15. Not bad. Reminds me of the MD-11!

As I told you guys earlier... thunderstorms.

Push back and engine start up. We've got no time to waste

Firing up!

Yeh , tcas should be off. I know.

And so we're taxiing towards 25L

We're #3 for take off

#2

Bye Bye Hong Kong!

See ya!

We're getting on track!
