Awesome screen shots.

How often are you flying? I am currently doing around the world flight also in a Piper Navajo. I'm parked up in Chittagong Bangladesh at the moment and trying to get another leg in soon. Do you fly your legs online? If so it would be good to RV somewhere if our legs are close enough together. Maybe even fly an online leg at the same time. I'm flying with the Regn ZK-TAC

The landclass is default. I use Active Sky, and Active Graphics. I downloaded replacement afcads for the Papua New Guinea airports from AVSim, and got replacement mesh from http://simviation.com/fsx_terrainmesh.htm

At the moment, I'm flying for the fun of it, so if I don't fly for a couple of weeks, I don't get hung up about it. I fly offline because I enjoy the AI that WoAI provides

Leg 14 - Kandrian Papua New Guinea (KDR) to Port Moresby Papua New Guinea (AYPY)

QUOTE
Port Moresby (pronounced /ˌpɔrt ˈmɔrzbi/), or Pot Mosbi in Tok Pisin, population 255,000 (2000), is the capital and largest city of Papua New Guinea. The city is located on the shores of the Gulf of Papua, on the southeastern coast of the island of New Guinea.
I decide to take an evening flight to spend the night in Port Moresby, rather than trying to sleep in my cockpit for the night.

In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

Leg 18 - Mount Hagen to Kandep

01: Taxiing for takeoff

02:

03: It's hard getting power at this high altitude:

04:

05:

06:

07:

Looking at my GPS I seem to be nearly on top of the airfield, but it's nowhere to be seen. As I top the crest of a hill, the airstrip reveals itself nestled on the other side of the hill. This looks like it's going to be a doozy to land at. Instead of the usual static screenshots, please enjoy a video replay of this very ... errr... creative landing winkyy.gif

Please watch in high quality, the standard quality version is very low-fi smile.gif

Enjoy:

Nice pics there NZ Coffee - some of the scenery you are flying over looks photo real - some interesting airports (an approaches!) as well.

Creative indeed biggrin.gif As soon as the port wingtip is reattached I guess you are off

Leg 19 - Kandep to Telefomin

QUOTE
Telefomin is a station town on the border of Sandaun and Western Provinces in Papua New Guinea. The town started during the Second World War after Mick Leahy was assigned to engineer an air-strip in 1944 for the United States for use against the Imperial Japanese Army forces based in New Guinea.
Leg 20 Telefomin Papua New Guinea to Jayapura, Indonesia

Rather than spend the night in my cockpit, I decide to make the hop over to Jayapura, a city over the Papua New Guinea / Indonesian border:

Depending on the range of my tanks, my next trip may be over to the Philippines!
