I've decided to do another New Zealand tour, this time using FSEconomy, from North to South, and hopefully seeing as much along the way as possible.

Flights will all be done in real time (ie no time compression), and using real weather. No screenshot has been edited except for resizing and converting to JPEG

Very nice. My favourite part of the country too.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

You can see landing and taking off at Kerikeri I had quite a crosswind to contend with too.
I'm using FSEconomy to fly this, so next leg I'm hoping over to Great Barrier Island and picking up a Cessna 172, and thinking of doing the entire rest of the tour in a Cessna

Yeah it's a light wee thing. Got buffeted around quite a bit. I felt like I was hanging in the air on a piece of string

And now the return trip back to Dargaville. I started to get nervous as it got darker and darker; NZDA doesn't have any lighting:

Auckland Airport to Te Kuiti: NZAA to NZTT

One thing I'm really digging about VLC (Vector Land Class New Zealand) is that I can navigate with an atlas. So far, I haven't used GPS at all, using a combo of VOR and an Atlas to navigate. It's really satisfying. For example, in this flight, I flew down the coast, then came inland until Otorohanga, then followed Te Kuiti Road down to Te Kuiti airport because I saw it on the atlas.

This is also my first flight using Shade for FSX. One thing I'm going to have to do now is tone down ENB with this addon as the bloom is a bit overpowering.

*WARNING A TONNE OF PICS TO FOLLOW* As it is showing off VLC AND Shade AND Te Kuiti addon

Taupo to Turangi to Waiouru: I'm trying different ENB settings here, but the bloom is too overpowering when there are clouds present. Also the ground is a bit oversaturated, don't you think?
