Hi people,

Last night I went on a beautiful flight to the Chatham Islands. I flew in a brilliant Metroliner. This is a perfect lane for this trip. Anyway, I set the time to dawn and the weather to fine. I took off from Christchurch intl. airport at 5:55am. As I headed out over the pacific the weather got better and better. The sun rose slowly up from the east making for a beautiful sunrise. As i got closer to the Chathams the wind started to pick up (as usual). As i descended into the little airport my Metroliner was being pushed against by a 35 knot crosswind. I unloaded the aircraft and re-fueled. I departed the Chathams at 12:45pm (the wind had slightly died down) and set off on my trip home to Christchurch. As i drew nearer to the mainland the sun set over the alps (another brilliant sun set). I touched down at 6:03pm.

This was a truely beautiful flight and i would highly reccomend it.

Thanks.

can anybody reccomend any other scenic flights like this one??
