Last Night the trusty Turbo'd 206 Stationair was fired up from SYD along with a Money Bravo. Departed SYD around 2000au and headed south. The weather report said for okay flying conditions. YEAH RIGHT. AVT and "NZ200" levelled at 2500ft tracking to Wollongong, bout 15nm out of WOL the weather got interesting, NZ200 reported 0vis from 2500ft down the 300ft, but we're both nuts so we continued on and landed safely. 08 was the active with wind at 057@7KNT, the 206 didn't mind a bit of a head wind, and by this time, Creator had swapped to a Lancaster Bomber.

We took off, still heading south, towards Nowra. We climbed up to 2000ft, weather was still pretty bad. Rain, 10vis and scattered cloud. AVT continued to climb up to 3000ft where the weather was ok. Weather upon landing was at minims, Next leg NZ200 was a T-6 and AVT was still the Turbo'd 206 Stationair ll, the flight continued south to Moruya where the decision was made to park up overnight.

More tales tonight as the flight will be continuing if the weather is kind.

If you read the manual that comes with VOZ, it explains how the scenery can be customised to suit different computers performances, by having all the BGL files in the scenery directory easily labelled so you can remove stuff you don't want at will.

Also, you might want to read the 'Maximise Your Settings Guide' written by Koorby, the VOZ author, here: http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15

Thanks trolly ,im ok with the voz scenery havent made any changes to it at all ,im pretty happy with it but its in no way anything like NZ to fly around ,,as for scenery i hate to bits rwy12 objects these are frame hogs and you know about it when your coming anywhere near them 25 25 25 ------13 frames enough to make you cry dry.gif
this i find is a problem with object places ,its to ezy to place these rubbish objects than it is to build them custom like we mostly do in NZ ..
screenshots will come as ive be taken some but there is not much to take on this VOZ trip so far ...
mite be time to start building for ozzy ,so i have something more to fly around ,
cant wait till i get to south oz i know there is some custom stuff down there at lest ...

Mike in your screenshots it looks like you don't have the VOZ landclass textures installed- which is the best thing about VOZ!

From the looks of things Craig, you don't have it installed correctly either. It should be in this order:

When running properly with Andy Weir's mesh, it will look like this:

Note- you can simply untick the EZ-Scenery selection in your FS libary if framerates are a problem and you don't want to delete the individual BGL's...
