Ian you will have to get a GA aircraft biggrin.gif
It should make a good flight from Nelson across to Karamea and down to the Haast calling at Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, Franz Joseph, Fox glacier and then on to the Haast

Hey, welcome to the Coast (where it's guaranteed to rain 363 days of the year winkyy.gif ). Just wish the weather would fine up so I could get out there and take some photos of Greymouth, Karamea, Fox and Franz airfield buildings to build some photoreal airports to compliment the project.

Hi Dorian that would be great if you could model the stores buildings etc for the coast towns I will be autogening them as I go but that takes heaps of time so will probably do the small ones first just about got the Haast ready to start autogening it

Suppose the $64 question is: Is this autogen going to be for VLC or Orbx NZSI?

Greymouth and Westport are the only centers that really need specialist autogen, so that should not be too much of a problem.

I will be doing two of each town one blended for ORBX and one Blended for VLC and will not use ORBX AGN so same autogen will work with both.
Still a bit more coulor blending to do on the VLC Haast

but here is the ORBX Haast on ORBX NZSI ready to have the AGN done

Still got to lighten up and add a bit of yellow to the VLC to make it blend in better

That looks great, Doug. Thanks for the Hokitika aerial, the original image I sourced from the council wasn't geo-referenced, and was only 80cm, so it will be good to redo the Hokitika scenery.

About half my sim flights are on the West Coast, so having all these towns will be brilliant. The Creative Commons imagery is certainly what I've been waiting for (since 2008, I guess), I guess there are a huge number of towns available now. I can't wait until I've finished NZWN (which uses CC-licensed images) and can get stuck into my next scenery using some of this higher resolution imagery. I have my eye on a particular area, but we'll just have to wait and see how this pans out...

Doug has sent me the aerial image for Hokitika so I can update the VLC/Godzone Hokitika scenery, as the new image is a lot better, and covers a slightly bigger area. Here it is in P3D2, still some work to do on the water mask.

This blends to VLC. Click on the thumbnail for the full-sized screenshot.

That looks Hoki Dori, strange that town gets so much attention by compare to the lack of anything a few years back, they literary missed it out !
