At the link below is a collection of shots from the C-130 Photo shoot held at Wanaka 2008.
This was a life time highlight for me and special thanks to Scott McKenzie for making this flight happen.
I spent a lot of time just watching the aircraft as it was such an eye opener.

Glad you remembered to take some pictures to share, must have been a great experience in the moment.
Interesting how yellow the paint goes in direct sunlight, and almost orange other times.

There will be lots more photos to come as well.
I have held quite a lot back until the Wanaka book was ready to come out and have just finished using them in magazines so there is a bit of a process to follow as supporting the airshow and its efforts so that has to come first and its really hard to hold photos back but by the sounds of it I have been represented well in the WOW book.

Yellow is one of the hardest colours to photograph, if the aircraft get to close to the sun angle, colour temperature basically washes all of the nice yellow out.

Hey Gavin , When are we going to have your presents with an online flight around FSX NZREALscenery , get the guys here to join in , using both Nije's CT4 and Deane's FU24 cool.gif Adrian Brausch would add a real nice touch in the Helio , maybe some virtual screenshots for the magazine

Well I wouldnt even know where to start and I dont have a FS program on my computer.
I used to in my old computer but I spend too much time on the computer now doing photo and business stuff so dont have time for FS anymore sad.gif
