Wont dump anymore on you all today.....but i was really pleased with this one (just my opinion) I like the way the camera caught the smoke on the tyres just as it started to "puff", and the heat haze.....wont go on and on.

Happy May day

As with so many things in life, it is all about timing, and the timing was great in this shot. One thing that I find useful is to put the camera onto rapid shoot, so that it takes 3 photos a second, this helps a lot to get the photo at the right time, but nothing wrong with this shot!

smooth landings.

Lookin good Slitpin.

Just remember... for all those great shots, there are thousands that got deleted. When we shot the Balloons Over Waikato this year, we saved 741 from 2300 shots. That is far far better than usual smile.gif

I'm too young to remember film!!! Well... almost smile.gif

The worst success ratio has been two keepers from 200 lightening shots. That is where digital is awesome.
