Can you still get out onto the roof? your last shots look like they are from up there.

When they finish the rebuild, I really hope they put an observation deck somewhere. But hopefully one that doesn't electrocute you when you touch the handrail.![]()
Thanks. Im using a Fujifilm Finepix S1600. Got it last week, so probably not the best shots it could have taken since i havnt really used it. The lens is a Fujinon 15x optical zoom lens

Hi Ian,
we had no problem here in mango hill where i live, but the wife was off work for a week, she worked at the markets, they are still struggling to get power on fully. i had an intresting few days at my work, had to finish early one day, then move all the trucks the next day, in the end we were lucky at my work, if it had peaked at what they were expecting then we would have had big problems, as it was we had to get alot of big tanks and cylinders fished out of the rivier and bay.
Alot of people have lost everything and insurance won't pay out, even the govt will not pay out to nzer's here due to the fact that we have a different visa to almost all other immigrants. there is still alot of business that are not running, and i expect alot of small business will not recover.
thanks for the thoughts though.
JasonIn the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
