This is my first time posting on these forums. I hope you enjoy the photos. The light wasn't great for photos, so they didn't turn out that well.

According to the ANZ fleet page there are 5 on order, well this one would mean 4 outstanding, and yeah to replace the 744. And yes the 787s will ultimately replace the 763s but the 787-900s are slightly longer-range that the 787-800s and have a larger payload, plus they actually have a longer range that the 777-200er's so they could serve on the same routes they currently operate on. see:

What a beast! biggrin.gif And in my opinion a welcome addition to the fleet (although I will miss the 744s)
Thanks for your all inclusive collection of pics, was just like being there. biggrin.gif

nice pics, i guess there is life in old 737 fuselages, just bolt em on to the wings of the 777 and stick an engine inside it. boggles the mind to think that the nacelles are the same diamater as the 737 fueslage
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.

I agree with Pacblue, it needs the Pacific Wave on it. Looks too bland as it is now, the Pacific Wave would really finish it off nicely.

Another nail in the coffin for the 747s......

smooth landings.
