Frankly HAM , better him than Helen Cluck , the one that sign the warrants in having any sort off RNZAF , flying Iroquois from a base in CHCH , we all talk about the earthquakes here and we did have some support with maybe UH-1 s here .. said this before - i do wonder streets filled vechicles and a good shake most roads blocked due the initial damage , no rescue services ..... I do wonder

Creator2003 Re: Patience - Not Really Just Lucky some times they fly over the house or near by on the way into the airport at times that I am able time to get out to the airport - 16 yesterday actually looked to be flying sideways as it passed overhead flying with its nose in to the wind - was lucky their was a P750Xl ZK-KBE conducting STOL landing / Take off to watch yesterday till the huey left - Most of the time they just land - refuel and leave so you have to race out to the airport fast to get any photo's or video smile.gif

The Iroquois climbed out from Ham Airport - continued to climb until it was a dot in the sky - headed North.
