Warbirds Over Wanaka part 2

Again great conditions for photos down at Wanaka airport, although not so many people out watching. From the layout of tents and stands, it looks like Warbirds will be smaller this time, and so far, the rows of campervans and visiting aircraft have not started. Time will tell........

Here are the photos taken yesterday, Thursday during the afternoon.

























back to the airport today, part 3 of the photos tomorrow,

One off the best days at Wanaka is the training Friday , you compare the size of the Yak3 , when one first arrived and displayed in 1995 at Wigram during the 50th VE day celebration , one was parked so close to Sir Tim's Spitfire .. it was small .
