Getting into dslr photography doesn't have to be expensive. You can pick up a canon 450d body for around the $300 mark. I bought a sony alpha (rebadged minolta) A200 body with little use for $200 of trade. Best 200 bucks I ever spent. All the old minolta lenses fit and I have picked up a few good ones after doing some homework on them. The difference to a point and shoot is night vs day. After that, I did an evening photography class which I highly recommend. Check out your local high school night class's and you might find something.

Thanks very much for the comments everyone!
Sorry haven't managed to get any more pictures out, have been busy trying to figure out some other stuff.

Just checked out your album Gavin, awesome shots, You really capture the moment! Like I said earlier, I can't wait for Classic Fighters, its one of my favourites (if not my favourite)!

Cheers,
James.
