RNZAF Texan II Buzz + Break

Postby huff3r » Thu Sep 22, 2016 5:10 pm

Just relaxing this afternoon and was treated to an impromptu airshow.

Flight of 5 Texan IIs circled OH once before putting on smoke and doing a pretty sweet buzz and break, then circling to land.

I'd imagine so, they have been doing a bit of formation flying over the last few months, and some solo aeros, but not any flash formation aeros that i've seen yet (although they could be doing this elsewhere). They will need to get everything sorted quick smart, the ohakea airshow is coming up fast.

You mean looking up from my beer on the deck and reaching over for the camera? The GF didn't know it was gonna be so noisy here, but I am in heaven having the circuit so close. Especially when the 75 comes roaring up my driveway at approx 500ft.
