Camera Survived after all that Cheers Ian & Merry Xmas, Actually a pity it got blown over because they posed the heli for the camera -they hovered the right hand side of the heli on lift off for a few sec's then hovered face on towards the camera then hovered on the left side for a few secs before backing up & departing Thank you for that Naki A109 crew is very much appreciated , Anyway for anyone that's interested this is the view behind where the pics of the helipad are taken.

Indeed .. trying for the Auckland Moo Moo market after the Waikato debacle in scoring the farms there , Chinese indeed .. it's the dairy products they are after , think those Southern China Airlines 787 's could be commercial spy planes ninja.gif

I was in Auckland for the weekend so snuck out of the hotel when the missus was distracted and ripped over to the aiport for a squizz. Was very dark as HW will have alluded to. My poor camera/lens combo was at 1600 ISO and struggling, this was about the best of the lot I took. Mind you, I was more interested in seeing/hearing the machine than taking pics to be honest...

oh, and here's a wee collection of fellow "enthusiasts" as the 787 was on finals ... where were you standing HW?

Its all Black and White .. Sean's amongst the cow's biggrin.gif , nah good the your boss did not see you sneak out ... phewy ! rolleyes.gif

It is very strange as the aircraft really dose not look that large at all, the increase size of the cockpit and the cabin windows gives it a very, well reduce,s the aircraft making it more a 76 rather the 78-9 series

Should I say Holy Molly .. Where's me bag .. lost again .. rolleyes.gif , Very interesting to compare the what was standard Boeing cockpit design , the traditional external window had that Boeing signature from the 707 all the way to looking at the the Triple 7 .. the 787 has definitely changed that .
