Pics not air to air even tho might look it, I was just running around the side of Mt Eden and were I was was higher than were the heli was working but I could have ya fooled!
As for a job, im just a lifeguard but im starting my helicopter PPL and CPL next year.

Roger, the owner of Skyworks, took us for a 'rollercoaster in the sky' experience, a ton of fun
Great pictures btw, I never knew other choppers besides Westpac Rescue were based at NZMB.

Posted: Thu Dec 24, 2009 11:29 amIm not sure if they still have it but the 'cops' aka Airwork used to have a H500 aswell, hardly ever saw it, in fact I only ever saw it once and I got threatened by a staff member after taking the photo.

@ nzav8tor you are quite right I did get them mixed up it is the skyworks chopper.
@ krispilot you are correct about the crew. From what I know the pilots are employed through helilink so they are separate from the police, apart from the fact they fly a police helicopter

And Is Helilink a company of airwork? So if i was a police helicopter pilot i would be employed by Helilink not airwork eh.
