Hope you all had a great Christmas santa_cool.gif ....anyway, i needed to get away from all the bustle for a while, so i headed out to Rwy 02 this afternoon to get a few shots.
I think (and Im sorry) theres nothing very exciting here, i was just trying a few new things i found on the camera.

Can anyone tell me what that bump is on the back of the Pac Blue 737....i havent seen it on any others......

Anyway.....take care, and happy new year to all

Hey, the hump is a receiver for live TV (Live2Air is the marketing name) - I think they're trialling it on a few aircraft.

I think all bar 1 of the DJ 737/8s have the Live2Air installed now. Works quite well.

Nice shots mate.

Hi ya Ruakituri
In your ATR , every day or the days you fly , is there any chance to post photos of things that happen or simply catch your eye , i think many would love to see day by day ops .. course landing and takeoffs are a no no , but start your own real world pilot adventure by posting , i believe it that .... excuse the pun would really 'takeoff' .

PS: if you have a birdstrike .... it wasnt me biggrin.gif
