Almost finished some reaserch/photos for an upcoming f/s project (not mine) at the Air force museum today.....so when i was done i popped next door to the main hanger and snapped a few.The lighting on the Dak from some angles looks like a sunrise....or sunset (just had to black out the background)
The other a/c is an Anson, and the flaps are on the Canberra...........















Enjoy, and sorry to bomb you twice in one day.....but Im heading up to woodbourne, and Omaka on wednesday.....so watch this space

I happen to have a post card very similar , if you look directly under the nose , just aft the aerial you will fined a little Womble sticker . Think was put on it during one off the Queenies visits .

Funny you mention post cards,a guy from another forum (via yet another forum) asked if he could use it (front shot) as the cover for a local aviation news letter........i was quite chuffed . I said yes, but if i said no....he could just grab it anyway, but still nice that he liked it.

Hope you liked them Ian.....thanks.....oh, i think that may have been a still in the back, one of the guys told me that the old girl "can drive you to drink" sometimes
