hi guys,

well in between time at work and building my g1000's i did a little spotting at YBBN, there is the first lot of photos, just a random unedited selection

I had to go to google to find out what on earth that second Virgin Blue plane was (the ones that's not a boing or a bus) laugh.gif

It's an Embraer E190 isn't it? A sharp looking plane, which if I recall correctly they flew about NZ for a bit to try it out. smile.gif

It's an Embraer of some sort, yes, but I'd have to go back to airliners.net (that's where I ended up) to find out which type smile.gif

Yup a 190 to be exact. they fly them every now and again on trans tasman routes, they also have some 170's as well. think metro on steriods, 2+2 seating quite long and narrow. one thing i noticed watching the 190 approach was that it seemed to have a higher angle of attack than everything else and it didn't seem to be affected by the wind as much, maybe better pilots tongue.gif

apparantly VB are still looking for the right route to use them on, as they don't quite fit the routes they are using them on at the moment (according to an article in an aviation mag here)
