Had an hour or so to wait this morning....so i popped these off.
Sorry about the various sizes....i went into a cropping frenzy........the ANZ aircraft and jetstar 320, are "aftershots"....I'll put up a couple of the before's later. ...and look at that odd cloud....it was like a little front just crossing over.....odd.

Marty , every photo is a resource .. looking out to the boundary and landscape , i,m not looking at the aircraft , just the scenery cool.gif

The second last photo of the Singapore Airlines 777-200ER is great! The alps make a great backdrop for the landing plane.

Looks like a typical convergence to me - clouds mark the line where two air masses converge - the colder air forming a wedge pushing up the warmer air. Nice shot smile.gif

Thanks Ben.....i was quite happy with that one....could be a bit sharper, but the bugger is going like the clappers, and my reflexes arent what they used to be. dry.gif

Dart....your a mine of information, thanks........i love looking at clouds and weather.....and yes, the nor wester makes for some great pics.
