The plane (Sptfire mk XVI) that started it all together with Mustang ZK-TAF. Unfortunately the Spitty now lives in Aussie. With any luck there will be other Spitfires in NZ. There is a Mk V being restored for an overseas owner that will fly next year that will be at the Omaka airshow. There is also a Mk IX, MK XVI (similar to Tim Wallaces but a low back) and a MK XIV (Tim Wallaces one that he crashed) under restoration in NZ mainly for NZ owners

P-40E Genuine RNZAF machine that lives at Masterton with the Old Stick & Rudder Company. THis was owned by Ray Hanna (hence the rego = ZK=RMH). Hopefully will be back in RNZAF colours soon.

This Mustang didn't fly as the engine was basically stuffed. Has a new one now. It wouldn't of being cheap as a set of park plugs cost $2700!

P-40N owned by Garth Hogan and lives in Auckland - genuine RAAF a/c.

P-40N - genuine RNZAF a/c in RAAF colours that was restored in NZ for an Aussie owner - now lives in Aussie (real ANZAC machine!!)

Engine start

Lavochkin LA-9 (Russian equivalent of Bearcat/ SEafury) - just missed the war more of a Korean War machine - powerful a/c - I love the sound of this plane (along with the Merlins). Lives in Auckland owned by Garth Hogan

Hurricane - for sale - hopefully it stays here.

Corsair - Genuine RNZAF machine that lives at Masterton with the Old Stick & Rudder Company. This was also owned by Ray Hanna . Now in RNZAF colours i believe

ZK_TAF - I love the sound of Merlins - the Mustang sounds better than the Spit and Hurricane I reckon

Thats all for now
