Hi guys, im not sure if i have posted these here before but they are my first ever Air 2 Air shots.
Would love to hear your comments and thoughts.

Photos were taken at the 2010 Stratford Flyin,
taken from ZK-CZR (first ever Sports Cruiser in the world)
of ZK-SXY the first Piper Sport demonstrator in New Zealand.

Was an awesome couple of hours flying and mucking around.

Hope you enjoy smile.gif

Cheers

I would be very happy if I had taken those photos. Not easy to take air to air, especially with aircraft windows, but those shots came out well. Good lighting is half the battle, and you got it right. Sharp photos too, and good colours, so I think that they are good. Perhaps the only other comment would be about the frames, possibly the deep black frames are a little too 'heavy' for these photos, but the actual photos themselves are great. A pleasure to look at. biggrin.gif

Smooth landings.

Great work, really like the first one.
Photographing through cockpits does work well when you get it right, and some very good examples of it here.

I think that may of been one of the first times I have been there and actually seen it with no clouds,
it wasnt like that for long either.

Thanks, first would be my fav as well. I have been out the side of a Helicopter for other photos on jobs
but I think it would be awesome to have a door off or be hanging out of an aircraft to take photos of another aircraft smile.gif

I mentioned this to Andrew 'Trolly' ,but he's flying but with you for example , Cameras today and maybe an idea to photo any small strips , circle it a couple off times shooting the heck out off it , obviously a good tight turning bank to get good hi-res directly DOWN shot , pass these on to photo dried designers and with blending into VLC , ooo boy cool.gif

Is that an idea that could work , only the small strips even photo paddocks for textures , .. the list gos on

we have a bantam that we play around in, and we have thought about similar things before.
could be an idea, not sure how you would pull it together, or fund it lol.
