Something a bit different at Ardmore today, a Kamov KA-32 which I've heard is heading down to Antarctica in support of the Korean Antarctic program. It arrived in a shipping container and was flown to Ardmore this morning. I believe it will be flying to Christchurch before it heads off to the ice so you might get a chance to see it down there too.

It's in absolutely pristine condition - looks brand new, not sure whether it actually is though.

Up close.

How's that for a rotor arrangement!

From the other side. The little green sticker near the front is it's MAF biosecurity approval!

Bonus shot of a King Air which was doing circuits all morning.

Has just landed at Woodbourne not two minutes ago. Assume it will be refuelling on its way south on a job?
