I had the fortunate pleasure of getting a guided tour around a C-17 on the Deep Freeze Apron in CHC on friday. unfortunatly only had my cellphone with me to take pics but ill post them here anyway for those of you interested.














and then a Singapore 777 taxiing in, we were a LOT closer than the phone pic made it seem

they are an awesome piece of kit, and they are decptively larger than they appear, i used to watch them all the time at amberly, was great to watch them pratice combat approach and landings, nice shots considering the phone was used! thanks for sharing

They let you take picture! I'm soooo jealous drool.gif . A year or to ago I did a guided tour of the No.1 Hangar at NZCH and a LC-130 was there being re-conditioned, but they wouldn't let us take any photos of it sad.gif sad.gif

Yea that was half the reason i didnt take a camera, so when they said we could i just used my phone, they actually came out a lot better than what i was expecting.

Im doing a tour throught the No. 1 Hangar as well this week, im hoping to get a look through a LC-130 also!

Great pics , be interesting if we see a LC-130'J' variant in the future , currently still the older L/R series .
